Memorial Giving Page for Salvador Sahagun
Salvador Sahagun was the eldest son of Rosa and Salvador Sahagun Sr. Growing up with a family of a younger brother and four sisters, "Sal" as everyone called him, was the go to guy. He truly was a "Jack of all Trades". From drawing you a beautiful picture, carving you a wooden sculpture, writing a movie script, remodeling your kitchen, fixing your computer, landscaping your yard, helping you move your heavy couch....there really wasn't anything he couldn't do. He loved physical activities and working with his hands. At the age of 42 he was able to obtain six pack abs while winning a contest to be in a TV commercial . His physical strength was matched only by his witty sense of humor as well as his philosophical and analytical thinking. He often wrote in journals. He would write his thoughts, quotes, goals, and ideas. He had plans of opening a bagel shop one day and had already mapped out a floor plan and a menu, with specials named after his children.
Sal would have been 47 on November 7, 2014 but while riding his bicycle, something he loved to do, in the early morning of April 25, 2014 he was struck by a truck. Do to his injuries he was in a coma and passed away five days later. He is survived my his three children, mother, father, four sisters, younger brother, six nieces, three nephews, one great nephew, and one grand daughter, all of which miss him each and everyday.
Sal always had a generous and giving soul. As his final gift, he was able to give the gift of life by donating both of his kidneys, his liver, both corneas, and skin.
The OneLegacy Foundation is grateful to its generous contributors for their help in supporting our mission.
