Memorial and Tributes
OneLegacy graciously accepts charitable contributions in memory and in honor of loved ones or in support of our efforts to inspire others to donate life.
We dedicate considerable resources to our collaborative work with hospitals and transplant centers as well as sensitively guiding potential donor families, amid their considerable grief, through the organ and tissue donation process. We also educate and inspire our diverse communities to support organ and tissue donation.

Remembering and Honoring Loved Ones
Joseph Robert Evers
Joseph Robert Evers was the only son of Victor and Dorothy Evers. Being raised with seven sisters, “Joe” as his family called him, was appropriately spoiled by them. He followed his father into the construction industry at the age of 18, and continued in that field for the rest of his life. He worked well with his hands, and could do just about anything, from a complete kitchen remodel to designing and building a beautiful piece of wood furniture. He was tall, dark and handsome and could cry during a sad movie or laugh loudest at a funny story. He enjoyed listening to country music and often spent time at Lake Havasu. His greatest joy in life was the time he spent with the loves of his life, his grandchildren Caleb (5), Dakota (7) and Linda, his partner of 30 years.
Joe who would have celebrated his 60th birthday on October 23rd, died suddenly in the early hours of Sunday morning, October 12th 2014 from an Acute MI (a heart attack). Along with Linda, Caleb, and Dakota, he is survived by his step children Shandra and Shane, his seven sisters, thirteen nieces and nephews, two grand-nephews, five aunts, two uncles, more than thirty first cousins, friends and co-workers who each will miss him dearly.
This loving, wonderful man was able to pass on the gift of life to many others by donating his skin, pericardium, bones, and eye tissue.

Duran was an amazing man, son, brother, nephew, and friend. Our family is so proud of the man he became and we are even more proud of the fact that he gave a piece of himself so other people can smile again and continue to live.
